Scottish Fiddle Orchestra
Bill Cook has been the leader of the SFO
since the early 1980's and took over from the original leader, Willie
Dunlop. The Scottish Fiddle Orchestra is one of Scotland's
foremost traditional music organisations and was formed in 1980,
deriving its origins from Fiddlers’ Rallies. Princess Anne, The
Princess Royal, is the Orchestra's patron and all of the SFO's concerts
are given in aid of one or more charities. |
